Learn About Paul

My commitment to the voters of Norfolk County is quite simple:

  1. Make sure that every tax dollar is spent wisely by the Commissioners.
  2. That county government be transparent and accountable. That the Commissioners comply with the state open meeting law 100% of the time.
  3. That Commissioners work with the leadership within the 28 communities in Norfolk County in a cooperative manner.
  4. That the Commissioners work with other elected county, state, and federal officials in a cooperative manner that is in the best interest of all the residents of Norfolk County.
  5. That the Norfolk County Agricultural High School, “Norfolk Aggie”, is supported and serves as a resource for all the residents of Norfolk County.
  6. I will be accessible to, listen to, and represent, all the residents of Norfolk County regardless of the community where they live.

community and Public Service

Since 1984, I have been active as an elected or appointed official in Medway and as a volunteer at the local, state, and federal levels of government.

I currently serve as the vice chair of the Medway Redevelopment Authority, as a member of the Boston Metropolitan Planning Council Legislative Committee, and as a member of the HUD Housing Counseling Federal Advisory Committee.

I also served as a volunteer mediator at the West Roxbury Court as part of the Metropolitan Mediation Services.

I authored state and federal earmark requests for the 12.5 million dollar Main Street/Route 109 highway project in Medway and successfully lobbied the federal government to release the funds so the engineering and design process could begin and worked within the system to obtain the construction funds.

I authored multiple grants to create the Idyllbrook Park in Medway and a pocket park on Main Street in Medway.

I know how to work with elected and appointed officials at all levels of government to get things done.
